DISTRICT NURSING

ROSLYH ASSOCIATION At the monthly meeting of the Roslyn District Nursing Association Mrs H. W. Bundle, vice-president, was in the chair. There were also present Mesdames A. R. Falconer, L. Chapman, W. Heenan, H. Lang, A. Chisman, Misses F. A. Wilkinson, J. Robertson, Messrs J. L. Calder, J. H. Matheson, and Dr Falconer. Dr and Mrs A. R. Falconer were congratulated on the honours conferred upon them by the Grand Priory of the Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John in Jerusalem in recognition of their services. The nurse’s report showed that though there was not so much sickness during the month she had been kept busy. A few parcels of clothing and some jam had been sent in, one supply coming from a country sympathiser. As the monthly sales were being held again on the first and third Fridays of each month, gifts of clothing, shoes, especially children’s, and men’s wear would be of great help. Parcels could be left pt the rooms, 104 a Highgate, any. morning between 9 and 9.30,°0r from 2 to 3 any afternoon but Saturday. If a telephone message were sent to the rooms during those hours arrangements would be made to collect any parceh Several expressions of appreciation of the work of the district nurse were received, showdng that her services were meeting a need in the district.
