HIGHLAND DANCING
SUCCESSFUL COMPETITION On Friday evening the Otago Centre of the Piping and Dancing Association conducted a very successful Highland and- national dancing competition in the St. Paul’s Schoolroom. , The attendance of the public was very gratifying; and excellent entries, were received. The judging of the- events was in the hands of Mrs J. A. Casey, „ a former champion dancer, who commented on the high standard of the and the closeness of the competition in the different events. The competition was controlled by, the president (Mr Albert Wheeler) r assisted by Mr J. L. Thomson, and the : music for the dancing was supplied by Messrs K. Cameron and Angus Mao. millan.
