DOMINION'S FORTY-HOUR WEEK " KILLING THE TOURIST BUSINESS " Press Association —By, Telegraph—(jopjngni SYDNEY, March 13. (Received March 13, at 1 p.m.) The golfer Joe Kirkwood, on arrival front New Zealand, said: “ The 40-hour week is killing the tourist business in the Dominion, It is impossible to purchase food of any description after 7 p.m. Tourists generally, and Americans in particular, are bitterly complaining about this. Walter Hagen and I have just concluded-a 10 days’ tour of New Zealand. Our exhibitions invariably ended late, and the result was that only twice during the tour were we able to have dinner at night. It is a ease of ‘ take your own food with you or starve.’ ”
