(Received March 13, at 1 a.m.) The ‘ Daily Mail’s ’ Berlin correspondent says:—Schmeling’s £50,000 challenge to Braddbck to fight for the world’s heavyweight title in Berlin, has been made with' the consent and approval of the highest Nazi officials, who are making efforts to offer some counter attraction in summer to London’s Coronation celebrations and the world exhibition in> Paris. It is revealed that before sailing for the United States at the end of February, Schmeling conversed wi£h General Goering and Dr Goehhels, and finally with Herr Hitler. If: the fight is arranged it will need the Olympic stadium, which can accommodate 150,000 people.
