BEACH REPORT
WATER RATHER COLD IMPROVED TEMPERATURES EXPECTED After the spell of unseasonable weather the temperature of the water on the local beaches is at present rather cold, but with better conditions in prospect improved temperatures maj be expected. The St. Clair beach is in fairly good order, though bathers are still urged to exercise care. An attraction at this beach to-morrow afternoon will be the staging of the St. Clair Sijrf Life Saving Club’s beltmen’s championship. At St. Kilda the beach is in fair condition, but the seas are very rough, and there are several-holes fairly close inshore. Bathers should be extremely careful to keep between the flags. The Tomahawk beach is in first-class condition, and is safe for bathing while the seas are moderate.
