FRENCH DEFENCE LOAN
ISSUE OF FIRST INSTALMENT Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright PARIS, March 11. (Received March 12, at 11 a.m.) The defence loan, the first instalment of which is being issued to-morrow, is for 6,000,000,000 .francs, bearing interest at 4J per cent., issued at 98. It will run for 60 years. Bonds are redeemable by annual drawings or purchases, Bourse subscriptions close on March 25.
