■7—- ■ ■■ ' AKOTH'3 VERS'GfI [Per United Press Association.] WELI/NGTON. February 19. The dispute in the New Zealand Allianc of Labour was the subject of a statement to-dav by Mr A. Cook, secretary of the New Zealand Workers’ Union, who replied to the statement made on Tuesday by Ur F. P. Walsh, presidnet of the Seamen’s Union. Mr Cook denied that a secret meeting had been hid during th 19SG annual conference of the Alliance of Labour. He contended that the vote to select Mr F. G. Young had never been submitted t ot.be rank and file membership of trade, unions, and rM Young did not represent the real Alliance of _ Labour, but the breakaway section of it.
