BRITISH COLUMN AND’ TRIBESMEN TWO SOLDIERS KILLED. Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright DELHI, February 18. (Received February 19, at 11 a.m.) A British column on a routine march west of Wana, Waziristan, was attacked by tribesmen. One British and one Indian soldier were killed and a British officer and five Indian soldiers wounded. Tbo column engaged the tribesmen and inflicted casnalities. LEAD BY NOTORIOUS RAIDER. LONDON, February 18. (Received February 19, at 1.5 p.m.) The Delhi correspondent of ‘ The Times ’ says the assailants of the British column were led by Guljan, a notorious bad character, who was seeking to avenge the death of his brother, another raider, who was killed in attacking a British post in 1933.
