OTAGO CROQUET TOURNAMENT

SECOND DAY’S PLAY In spite of heavy rain showers, play was continued yesterday afternoon, and the doubles were run out to the final stages. The lawns are in good condition, and some interesting games were seen. , One of the most spectacular was seen this morning in the second round or championship doubles between Mrs Cole and J. Nichol, of the Opoho Club, and Mesdames Christopher and Gibson, ot Wniea.
