SOVIET BORDER GUARDS CASUALTIES NOT STATED Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright MOSCOW, February 18. (Received February 19, at 1.5 p.m.) It is officially reported that 600 Japanese, armed with 18 machine guns, attacked 35 Soviet border guards near Lake Rhana. The Soviet guard held off the attackers for over 20 hours. The casualties were not stated.
