ELECTION OF COUNCIL [Per United Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, -.February 17. At the annual meeting of the New Zealand Institute of Architects the following members of the council were elected unopposed -.—-South Auckland, Mr H L. White; Hawke’s Bay and Gisborne, Messrs H E. Phillips and F. H. Forge; Taranaki and Wanganui, Messrs T. H. Bates and R. G. Talboys; Wellington—Messrs E. H. de J. Clere, J M. Dawson, and H. C. Morton; Canterbury—Messrs B. J. Agar, W. H, Trengrove, and Or. D. Orrimtlis j Otago, Messrs E. S. C. Millet and A. L. Salraond; Southland, Mr A. C. Ford. In the election for council members for the Auckland district the elected candidates were Messrs S. S.. Alleman, J. Park, and L. S. Piper. The president will be elected at a meeting of the new council to-morrow.
