LADIES’ BOWLING
PAIRS TOURNAMENT FIRST ROUND DECIDED The pairs of the annual bowling tournament under the auspices of the Otago Ladies’ Bowling Association commenced this morning on the Caversham, Leith, Kaikorai, and Otago Ladies’ Bowling Association greens.' All greens were in a damp and heavy state after the. rains "of last night, and a strong and tricky southwesterly wind militated against good bowling. During the luncheon adjournment rain again fell, making conditions very unfavourable.
