EDUCATIONAL. OTAGO HIGH SCHOOLS BOARD. ENROLMENTS. 1937. New pupils will be enrolled at the Otago Boys’ and Girls’ High Schools and the King’s High School on Friday, 26th February, from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Those living at a distance from Dunedin who cannot conveniently enrol that day may do so on Monday, Ist March. Birth and proficiency certificates and primary progress cards must be produced by pupils on enrolment. Parents of new pupils who desire to see the Rector (in the case of either of the Boys’ Schools) or the Principal of the Otago Girls’ High School may do so on the same date during the same hours. Holders of Standard VI. Competency Certificates will be admitted to Free Places in the Otago Girls’ High School provided they take the Commercial Course. Boys holding such Certificates can be admitted to the Otago Boys’ High School and the King’s High School only as Paying Pupils. Pupils entering under this qualification must produce their certificates on enrolment. All new pupils and pupils returning, excepting only those country pupils who cannot conveniently attend at that hour, will assemble at their Schools on Monday, Ist March, at 9 a.m. Those in attendance at the Otago Boys* High School at the end of last year who have not yet informed the Rector of their intention to return or otherwise are requested to do so immediately, preferably by letter. The full name and last year’s form should bo given. Intending new pupils of the Otago Boys’ High School and the King’s High School who .have not yet done so should also give immediate notice of their intention to enrol. The form of notice may be obtained at the High Schools Office, 236 Moray Place. Cap orders also will be issued at that office. Hat badges will be supplied to new pupils at the Schools on the day of enrolment. Prices: Otago Boys’ High School, 2s; King’s High School, 2s; Otago Girls’ High School, 3s. Prospectuses for the three schools may be obtained at the board’s office. CAMPBELL HOUSE. The Hostel will be open from the evening of FRIDAY, 26th February, for the reception of Boarders.
