LOSS OF SCOW RANGI
INQUIRY TO BE HELD [Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, February 16. The Minister of Marine (the Hon, P. Fraser) announced to-day that as inquiry into the loss of the scow Rangi, which was wrecked off Rakino Island on the night of January 14 resulting in the loss of four lives, will be held by Mr R. M’Kean, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court at Auckland, commencing at 10 a.m. next Wednesday. The following have been appointed assessors:—Captain G. Sorenson, Captain F. B. G. Jensen, and Sir T. F. Anderson.
