NEW YORK HOTELS
A THREATENED STRIKE Pres* Association—By Telegraph—Copyright NEW YORK, February 14. Strike calls to 4,000 employees of the six principal hotels in New York, including the Waldorf-Astoria, the Commodore, and , the Biltmore, on Monday and Tuesday threatened to shut down the premises. The principal demands are for increased wages. The hotel managements say that they anticipate little difficulty, declaring that tho unions are insufficiently organised.
