YOUNG PRINTER SENTENCED [Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, February 15. Clifford George Remmers, labourer and printer, aged 19, who was found guilty, with a very strong recommendation to mercy, of knowingly being in possession of forged Reserve Bank £5 notes, uttering four notes, and attempting to utter one, was sentenced to-day by the Chief Justice to two years’ detention in the Borstal Institute. Sir M. Myers said the prisoner was being shown the utmost leniency. • In England the offence was regarded as extremely serious. WANGANUI SESSION WANGANUI, February 15..
