Riddett, director of tho Dairy Research Institute, Massey College, conimented on the favourite position held by New Zealand on the British dairy market, but emphasised the necessity for maintaining quality of output and for reciprocal trade. As an example of the benefits of reciprocal trade, he said Lord Nuffield had told him that all of tho 30,000 employees of tho Morris factories used only New Zealand butter. Professor Riddet said any complaints regarding marketing at Homo were ably investigated by the Dairy Division inspectors, whose services were appreciated by the whole of the distributing trade. ■ ■
