WATCH YOUR PETROL
Despite the large number of filling stations located in the town area, a surprisingly large number 'of motorists find themselves held np because their cars have run out of petrol. Drivers are urged not to trust their memories or to make rough estimates as to the petrol consumption of their vehicles. If the car’s petrol indicator cannot be relied upon it is suggested that a dipstick be carried, and the tank contents measured before the vehicle is taken on to the road.
