ONE MORE DUEL

SENSITIVE HUNGARIAN NOTH EIGHT OPPONENTS ALREADY DEALT WITH Press Association—Bv T degraph—Copyright BUDAPEST, February 14. (Received February 15, at 1.5 p.m.) “ I want to get them off my chest,’ said Dr Sarga, referring to the three remaining duels, one-of which he fought to-day with an ex-snitor of his wife, Vitez de Vazsony, a bank official, leaving one against a Civil servant and another against a penultimate opponent who was wounded when the police intervened. Vazsony recently testified against Dr Sarga in Dr Sarga’s lawsuit against his wife’s family. Dr Sarga subsequently refused to acknowledge Vazsony’s salutation, - declaring that he replied to greetings only from gentlemen. The result was a 14-ronnds’ duel with sterilised Italian sabres at a fencing school, lasting 90 minutes. The contestants were stripped to their waists and wore neck bandages. Dr Sarga, witli his customary gorilla yell, in the sevencff round evaded Vazsony’s thrust, and seriously wounded him in the hip. A surgeon bandaged the wound, and the seconds vainly urged reconciliation, but the duel was resumed. Vazsony was wounded in the neck in the eighth round and broke his knee in the fourteenth. [A message received on November 25 stated: Seeking to vindicate the honour of his wife, about which it was alleged aspersions were cast. Dr Francis Sarga, who challenged nine men, fought the first two duels with pistols secretly in a stubble field on the outskirts of the city. His first opponent was wounded in the arm, and sent to hospital. In the second duel both missed, and were reconciled. The duels were necessarily hurried, as peasants flocked to the scene immediately the news spread. Dr Sarga does not intend to carry the remainder of the duels further immediately, as the police are watching. A message received on December 23 said ; The wife of Dr Sarga gave birth to a daughter. Dr Sarga offers, in the spirit of Christmas and in celebration of his first horn, to forgive his tradneers and to withdraw his remaining duelling challenges if an apology is offered. Aladame Sarga savs she is glad her baby is not a boy, as he might have been a duellist.]
