A.D. Bro. W. Le Brun presided at the fortnightly meeting or Pride of Morniugton Lodge, No. 14. Correspondence included a letter from the acting grand secretary regarding remits to the United Friendly Societies Council. The lodge received an official visit from the grand president and his executive, who brought with them the efficiency shield, and Bro. Johnston, asking the Arch Druid to accept the shield, offered the congratulations of his officers and himself on the winning of the coveted honour. The Arch Druid intimated that his team had worked well together, and thanked the Grand President for Ins remarks and visit. Visitors included Bros. M'Bratney and Green (Lily of the Valley) and Morrison (Linden). One proposition for membership was received.
