On Tuesday, February 2, a very pretty evening wedding was solemnised at Trinity Methodist Church, Stuart street, when Grace Annie, second, daughter of the late William Peart and Mrs Peart, of North-east Valley, was married to Harold William, second son of Mr and Mrs May, of Lyttelton. The Rev. C. H. Olds performed the ceremony, and the church was decorated with blue and white hydrangeas. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her brother, Mr William Peart, wore a gown of ivory lace cut on slimming lines and flaring from the knees with net godets, the veil being arranged with a halo effect. She was attended by Miss Edna Duff, of Cromwell, whose frock of blue lace was cut on similar lines, while_ her hat of blue net was most effective. The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Mr T. May, of Lyttelton. After _ the ceremony a reception was held in the R.S.A. rooms, Moray Place, where the guests were received bv Mrs Peart and Mrs May. The former was attired in a blue silk frock with green and white rings, a blue silk coat, and a glass straw hat to tone, and carried a bouquet of scabious and cream abutilons. Mrs May wore a navy blue floral frock and blue hat. When M • and Mrs May loft for their honeymoon the bride wore a navy blue floral frock, navy coat, and hat'to match. Their future home will be in Christchurch,;

GOULD—WILKINSON,A very pretty wedding took place on January 25 at the United Congregational Church, Albany street, when Winifred Anne, youngest daughter ot Mr and Mrs Gould, James street, North-east Valley, was married to Robert Owen, youngest son of Mi’ and Mrs Wilkinson, Hope street, Dunedin. The ceremony was preformed by the Rev. G. C. Bycroft, with Mr Ron. Abernethy at the organ. The church was prettily decorated by friends of tho bride. While the register was being signed a solo was rendered by Miss Adaline Cameron, which was much enjoyed. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a gown of ivory satin. The bodice was fitting, and featured a rucked front, full sleeves to the wrist, and a Medici collar finished with bunches of orange blossoms. A sheaf of lilies completed a pretty toilet. Her only bridesmaid, Miss Mavis Johnston, who preceded her up the aisle, wore a gown of Marina blue lace, a large picture hat of the same material, with lemon sash and shoes. The bridegroom was ably assisted by Mr Tan Roberton as best man. The reception was held at tho Strand Salon, where Mrs Gould and Mrs Wilkinson welcomed their quests. The former wore a black floral frock, black coat, pretty black hat, and carried a bouquet of pink carnations. Mrs Wilkinson was attired in a blue floral frock, blue coat, and smart hat. Her bouquet was of red roses. During the reception solos were rendered by Miss Mavis Johnston and Miss Adaline Cameron. After the reception dancing was enjoyed by tho young folk. When Mr and Mrs Wilkinson left by car the bride travelled in a blue floral frock, smart blue coat, velour hat, with gloves, bag, and shoes to tone. Their homo will be in Mornington. Previous to her wedding tho bride was the guest of honour at several' parties given, by her friends.
