THE KING’S CUP RAGE EXTRA PRIZES THIS YEAR (British Official Wireless.) Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright RUGBY, February 11. The King notified the Royal Aero Club of his desire to give a cup annually for the aeroplane contest known as the King’s Cup Air Race, inaugurated in 1922 by King George V. To mark the Coronation year. Lord Wakefield will offer prizes for this race of £2,000 instead of £I,OOO as in previous years. MRS EARHART'S PLANS NEW YORK, February 11. Mrs Earhart informed, the Australian Associated Press that she will fly to Ausralia. She will depart early in March from Oakland and touch Honolulu, thence to Howland, thereafter to Lao, New Guinea,' and Port Darwin, turning back immediately and proceeding by the usual Imperial Airways route to India, thence to Afrca, Natal (Brazil), Mexico, and Miami. MR MOLLISON IN FILM LONDON, February 11. ■ Stipulating that he must do more flying than acting, Mr Mollisou contracted for a leading part in the first film produced by British Independent Exhibitors Ltd.
