PUMMERT&N WINS , [PBit United Press Association.] AUCKLAND, January 7. By winning the sixth race in the Cornwell Cup series at Tatiranga this afternoon, the Piimmerton crew (K. and M. Watson) secured their third victory and thus won the trophy from Auckland. The fifth race was held this morning, and was won ( by Christchurch. Detailed results of the series are as followPiimmerton 3 wins, Christchurch 2, Auckland 1. There was a steady westerly breeze for the sixth race, which started at 2.30 p.m. Piimmerton took the lead early in the race, and held it until their spinnaker skied. Manukau then sailed to the front, followed by Christchurch, Tauranga, Wellington, Piim-

merton, Auckland, Whangarei, and Paremata. In the second round Christchurch gained the lead, with. Tauranga in second place. On the last leg the Christchurch boat capsized when about a quarter of a mile from the finish, and Piimmerton then secured the lead and won.
