BELFAST WORKS STRIKE
WORK TO RESTART TO-MORROW [Psn United Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, January 7. The butchers and other employees of Borthwick’s freezing works at Belfast, who ceased work yesterday as the result of a dispute with their employers, will report for work to-morrow morning. A decision to this effect was reached after prolonged discussion at a meeting attended by 150 men at the Trades Hall this morning. It was ’also decided to again refer the matters in dispute to the Disputes Committee provided for in the award.
