Members of- Toe ■ H and tbe League of Women Helpers visited the patients at the Pleasant Valley Sanatorium on Saturday. In the afternoon games of bowls, crequet, and other pastimes were played much to the enjoyment of patients _ and' visitors alike, A concert ■was given in the evening, when the following gave items—Piano solos—• Miss Winnie Tate, Mavis M'Donald, and Beryl Evans; songs—Misses Gwen Smith and Alma Tyrell,Messrs Les. Dunbar, Irvine Douglas* and George Salmond; Highland dances* Miss Dorothy Smith; elocutionary nunu hers—Messrs Claude Grey, Ken. Stew art. and George Salmond. Miss Mavis M'Donald acted as accompanist. _ The entertainment was concluded with a community sing led by Mr Les. Dunbar. Thanks to the visitors were expressed by one of the patients and by. Mr A.
