lEOUESTS TO CHARITY
WILL OF MRS JAHET TILBURH Under the will of the. late Mrs Janet Tilburn, of St. Clair, whose estate has been sworn for probate purposes at under £50,000, a number of charitable institutions will benefit clonsiderably. After making allowance for numerous private bequests the will directs that the residue of the estate shall be divided into six equal parts, to be dealt with as follows: — One part to the Salvation Army Maternity Hospital, “ Redroofs.” One part to the Presbyterian Church, Sawyers Bay. On© part to the trustees of the Sir Arthur Pearson memorial fund,'to be applied' by them in association with the Jubilee Institute for the Blind for the purpose of assisting blind men to become established in useful occupations. One part to the Dunedin branch of the Royal New Zealand Society for the Health of Women and One part to the Presbyterian Social Service Association for the general purposes of the Glendining Home at Anderson’s Bay. . One part to the Presbyterian Social Service Association, to be used for the general purposes of the Ross Home, North-east Valley. A gift is also made to the Dunedin Art Gallery of two oil paintings of Sir Watler Scott and Robert Burns.
