The announcement that a settlement had been reached was made by counsel in the Supreme Court case, in which P. Graham and Son Ltd., contractors, of Christchurch,, claimed damages from the Ford Motor Company (New Zealand) Ltd. for alleged wrongful termination of contract. Air H. J. V, James, for the Ford Company, said he was glad to inform the court that since the adjournment of the case the plaintiff company had approached them with a view to obtaining a settlement, and no difficulty had been found in arriving at one mutually satisfactory. . Air Hay, for the plaintiffs, agreed. They had obtained a fair and reasonable settlement of the claim, and wished to withdraw unreservedly all the statements and imputations that had been made against the Ford Company, New Zealand, in connection with the dispute, the settlement of which had been conducted in an entirely friendly manner.
