Draught and light horses promise., to bo a feature. SOUTH OTAGO TROTTING CLUB. The adjourned annual meeting of the South Otago.Trotting QJub was attended by about,4o members. Mr-D. Sinclair presided. The following office-bearers were elected Patron D. T. Fleming, F. Waite, Simon Wright; president, Mr D. Sinclair (re-elected); vicepresidents, Messrs Phil. Clent and W. B. Duff; secretary, Mr J. Henderson; auditor, Mr J. ,M. Doggart; hon. solicitor, Mr J. G. Kelly; committee—Messrs James Little, R. Chalmers, G. M‘Feeters, J. P. Moir, E. B. Gold, J. Bilzon, W. Myne ; bon. treasurer, Mr S. Riach. It was decided to hold over the holding of a trotting meeting until such time as an amendment to the Gaming Act made a totalisatot or bookmakers possible. After the meeting a very enjoyable smoke concert was held.
