ENGAGEMENT WITH HIGHLANDERS TWENTY KILLED AND TWO CAPTURED. Preti Association—By Telegraph—Copyright JERUSALEM, August 7. Twenty Arab snipers were killed and two captured, while an officer of the Seaforth Highlanders was slightly wounded in an engagement in the hills north of Nablus. Arabs attacked an omnibus convoy with an escort on the way to Tel-Aviv from Haifa. Troops were rushed from Nablus. Aeroplanes accounted for 18 Arab dead, while none of the omnibus passengers was injured.
