At a peace meeting held in the Embassy Salon on Sunday, August 2, at which addresses were delivered by representative speakers, the following resolution was moved and carried; — “ Thai this meeting of Dunedin citizens urges that any war commitments entered into with the British Government be published, and that the New Zealand Government plainly state its attitude to the war plans of the British Government. We also urge that the New Zealand Government dissociate itself from these plans.” It was decided to send a copy of this resolution to the Prime Minister and to the Press,
