CLIFF SUICIDE
SYDNEY BOOKMAKER’S DEATH Proof Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. ■ _ SYDNEY, August 10. (Received August 10, at 2 p.m.) A man threw himself over the cliff at Echo Point, Katoomba, falling 1,000 feet ■ into the valley below. A search party later found the body rimpaled on, a tree stump. It was identified as that of George Wilkinson, aged 35, a Sydney bookmaker. A young woman, whom Wilkinson asked to hold hi» overcoat, witnessed . the tragedy.
