Mr Justice Kennedy left this morning to hold a sitting of the Supremo Court at Invercargill. His Honour, Mr Justice Kennedy, left this morning for Invercargill to preside at the quarterly sittings 'of the Supremo Court. Mr A S. Falconer left by the express for the north this morning ea route for Wellington to attend a meeting of the Tobacco Trade Council. ' Mr J. W. Munro, M.P., was a passenger by this morning’s express op) his way to Wellington. Mr W. F, Titchener left this morning for Wellington. The champion runner, L. C. M‘Lachlan, who has left the firm of Messrs R. Wilson and Co to start in business in Napier on his own account, was presented by the staff of the film on Saturday morning with a leather suitcase and a travelling run. Mr M’Lachlan left this morning for the north. Mr A. Campbell, M.P., who visited Port Chalmers at the week-end, returned north by last night’s express. Cr T. F. Mackie is leaving Port Chalmers, having disposed of his business there. Mr J. D. Morgan will he a candidate for the vacancy in the Borough Council resulting from Cr Mackie’s resignation. Guests at the City Hotel are Mr J, L. Bennett (New Plymouth), Mr C, P. James (Wellington), Mr S. A, Robbie (Oamaru), Mrs B. Curtis, Miss N. Curtis (Queenstown), Mr N. M'Gregor (Mount Linton,), and Mr O Kelly (Gore). A Press Association cable message from Geneva states that Lord Lugard the British member _of the Mandate! Commission, has resigned through illhealth.
