THEATRICAL TREAT

_ What promises to be one of the happiest .forma of amateur theatrical entertainment held in- Dunedin -will be staged in the Concert Chamber on Wednesday night. It will be the presentation of four one-act plays, all different in type, plot,. and appeal, in order vto ensure variety. Two and ahalf hours of excellent dramatic fare, handled by well-known and favourite leading amateurs, promises to give full measure of enjoyment, In the present day, one-act plays have reached a partioularly high standard, and. such a chance as is being given on Wednesday is well worth taking advantage of. The four societies participating will be the Repertory Society, the Adelplii- Players, the Little Theatre, and the Dunedin Comedy Players. Each society is presenting a first-class play with a particularly strong cast of charactersThose patrons desirous of reserving seats can do so at the D.1.C./ where the box plan is now open.
