[From Our Baklutha Correspondent.] August 10. The Kaitangata Cycling Club’s road race, held over a 22-mile course on « Saturday, resulted:—A. Bamsay ]. A.Mackic 2; J. Matchett 3. Fastest time, W. Crook. On Saturday morning a two-storied residence on Inch Clutha belonging to Mr David Millar, who resided there with Ids wife and family, was totally destroyed by fire. The occupants had just time to escape, and were not able to save any of their belongings. Tim buildings and contents were insured, but the amount is not available.
