DIVINE.—On July 4, 1936 (suddenly), at Christchurch, Ellen Amelia, widow of James Divine, and youngest daughter of the late George and Elizabeth Smart, of Kaikorai Valley. Deeply mourned. —The Funeral will leave the residence of her brother (Mr H. A. Marion, beloved wife of Leonard Charles Pay, 34 Driver street, St. Kilda, and youngest daughter of Mrs J, Fraser* late of 218 Bealey Avenue, Christchurch; aged 30 years. “ A patient sufferer at rest.” Interment at Christchurch. —Hope and Kmaston. funeral directors.
PHILLIPS.—On July sth, 1936, at the residence of her nephew (Dr Wylie) Outran!, Mary Jane, relict of Samuel Charles Phillips late of Union street, Dunedin; in her ninety-first year.—The Funeral will leave the Trinity Methodist Church, Stuart street, on Wednesday, the Bth inst., immediately after the funeral service, whioli will commence at 2.30 p.m., for the Northern Cemetery.—Hugh Gourley Ltd., undertakers. RENTON.—On July 4th, 1936, at Mosgicl (accidentally killed), Jessie, beloved widow of George Paul Ren tout late of Dunedin and Balclutha, and loved sister of Annie Robertson, of East Taieri. SMITH.—On July 6th, 1936, at Dunedin, Beverley Caroline, dearly loved daughter of Gladys Mary Smith, of 55 Grove street, Musselburgh; aged 1 year and 5 months. SUTTON.—At Stoke, Nelson, on July sth, 1936, Jeanie, relict of John Douglas Sutton, late of Dunedin. “At rest.”
