DIVINE.—On July 4, 1936 (suddenly), at Christchurch, Ellen Amelia, widow of James Divine, and youngest daughter of the late George and Elizabeth Smart, of Kaikorai Valley. Deeply mourned. —The Funeral will leave the residence of her brother (Mr H. A. PHILLIPS.—On July sth, 1936, at the residence of her nephew (Dr Wylie) Outran!, Mary Jane, relict of Samuel Charles Phillips late of Union street, Dunedin; in her ninety-first year.—The Funeral will leave the Trinity Methodist Church, Stuart street, on Wednesday, the Bth inst., immediately after the funeral service, whioli will commence at 2.30 p.m., for the Northern Cemetery.—Hugh Gourley Ltd., undertakers.
