TANKER ON REEF
BOUND FOR SYDNEY Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright BRISBANE, June 30. The Swedish tanker Balaklava, 8,036 tons, is aground on a reef in Princess Charlotte Bay, 120 miles north of Cooktown. The vessel was bound for Sydney with a full cargo of oil. It is expected that she will be refloated at high tide to-night. STILL FAST. BRISBANE, July 1. (Received July 1, at 11.5 a.m.) Attempts to refloat the tanker Balaklava. failed.
