VISIT TO FEUDING [Pbk United Press Association.] FEILDING, July 1. The Hon. P. Fraser (Minister of Education) paid, an official visit to Feilding. He was met by the .Taonui School Committee and settlers, who are protesting against the proposed consolidation, which means the closing of their school. The Minister said he bad no intention of forcing consolidation on unwilling settlers, but would give them further time to consider the question. They might in time see the_ benefits that consolidation would bring. Last night the Minister met the Board of Managers of, the Agricultural High School and . heard requests for improved conditions. To-day he visited various schools. and later left for Palmerston North.., .
