r A’ portrait of King George 11. in Royal robes has been presented to Princeton University by four graduates, to take the place of the portrait of that King which was pierced by a cannon ball during the War of Independence. The portrait, which is life size, is the work of Charles Jervas, Court Painter to King George 11., and was once part of Lord Byron’s collection at Newstead Abbey.
