Cabled' advice has been received bythe Union Company that the Waiotapu cleared Los Angeles at 10 p.m. on June 24 for Auckland, Napier,' Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Australia via the Cook Islands. She is due at Auckland on July 23. LONDON SHIPPING. During the week ended May 15, 1,231 vessels, representing 1,141,987 net register tons, used the Port of London.' Of these 522 vessels (903,293 net register tons) were to and from Empire .and foreign ports, and 709 vessels (238,694 net register tons) were engaged; in coastwise traffic. The arrivals included nine meat cargoes—five from Australia, one from New Zealand, and three from South America, comprising 425,000 carcasses of lamb and mutton, 93,000 quarters of beef, quantities of pork, rabbits, and sundries. Eleven timber laden vessels arrived at the Surrey commercial docks with 20,859 tons of softwood. Forty-three vessels totalling 430,723 tons gross register used the Tilbury passenger landing stage during the month of April SUEZ CANAL TRAFFIC AND RECEIPTS. Ships totalling 2,042 passed through the Suez Canal during the first four months of this year, compared with 1,887 in the corresponding period of 1935. Receipts totalled 296,220,000fr5, against 293,410,000 frs —an increase of 2,810,000 fr (about £37,500 at current rates). MOVEMENTS. —Coastal.— Wingatui completed working cargo at Dunedin yesterday and sailed for Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington. and Auckland. Holnulnie sailed last night for Oamarn, Timaru, and Lyttelton to complete loading for Wellington, Picton, and Wanganui. Karu is due at 8 o’clock this evening from New Plymouth direct. She will sail in the morning for Wellington, Nelson, and New Plymouth via Oamaru, Timaru, and Lyttelton. Holnilea arrived early this morning and is to sail this evening for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, New Plymouth, and Port Waikato. Gale is to load here on Saturday for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Wanganui. Waipiata has been fixed to leave Auckland 011 Friday, and is due here on July 8,

She will sail the same day for Bluff, returning on Saturday to load out for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland, —Overseas.— Oinana, from South Australia via northern ports, reached Dunedin 7 last night to complete discharge. She is to sail at 10 p.m. to-day for Newcastle direct. Sydney Marti has been delayed in the north by bad weather and is now expected here to-morrow. The vessel will discharge and load general cargo here and will sail the same day for Wellington and Auckland to complete. Abel Tasman arrived this morning. She will sail to-morrow for New Plymouth, Greymouth, and Australia. Waikouaiti berthed at noon. . She will sail late on Friday for Timaru and Lvttelton to complete discharge. • "Waitaki has been delayed by bad weather, and is now due here from Bluff on Friday. She will sail the same day for Lyttelton and Wellington to complete discharge. Antiope, from Bunbury via northern ports, with a cargo of hardwood, is now expected at Dunedin on Sunday. Huntingdon, from Liverpool via ports, was expected at Port Chalmers this afternoon. Kent has been delayed by bad weather, but it is hoped to despatch her from Oamaru to-night. She will continue Homeward loading here, and will later sail for Lyttelton, Wellington, and Napier to complete. AUSTRALIA-NEW ZEALAND. Wanganella left Sydney on June 25 for Wellington, returning from there to Sydney and Melbourne. She arrived at Wellington on June 29, and sailed yesterday, and is due at Sydney on July 3 and Melbourne July 6. Kiwitea loads at Adelaide and Edithburgh in the second week in July, and completes at Melbourne for Auckland, Portland, Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, .and Dunedin. ( IN'RADIO RANGE.
