‘AUTUMN CROCUS ’
The thirteenth major production of the Dunedin Repertory Society, which will be staged at His Majesty’s Theatre for a season of four nights, commencing on Friday, July 10, is to be, C. L. Anthony’s delightful three-act play 1 Autumn Crocus.’ The action of the play takes place in a quiet valley within easy motoring distance of Innsbruck, in, the Tyrol, and a quaint oenturiesold inn is the central setting of the play It is the end of the tourist season, when only a few guests linger on before the inn is finally closed for the winter season, and it is around these people. English and German, that the playwright has woven a stofy, fragrant as the woods that surround the guest house. An exceptionally strong cast has been chosen to interpret the play, the production of which is in the hands of the society’s producer, Miss Ilcssio Thomson.
