THE PEACE EXHIBITION
This is an educational effort on the part of the schools of Dunedin and Otago. In Dunedin a similar demonstration has become an annual event, but this a more ambitious adventure had been planned by the Schools Educatipn Committee of the League of Nations Union. All the secondary schools of the city—both boys’ and girls’ schools—have thrown themselves most heartily into the scheme, and from the commencement there has been fine co-operation. Thus the evenings of Friday July 10 and Saturday July 11 will provide an entertainment of interesting items by the scholars of various schools, and the programme has been planned to afford every type of child an opportunity to share in the study of peace in h pleasing manner, according to the capacity and inclination of each. To supplement this, the League of Nations Union has been so fortunate as to enlist the sympathy of Big Brother Bill and his colleague, who have undertaken to organise a display of model aeroplanes for the afternoon of Saturday. July 11. This will ensure that the children of the primary schools share with others in the peace exhibition. There will he items on the programme for the elder folk and many exhibits from foreign countries.
