THE BOOMI SHOOTING Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright SYDNEY, June 30. , In the Criminal Court to-day Eric Newilands, /aged 25, a grazier, was charged, with having murdered William Diincombe, aged 35, at Boomi, and was found guilty of manslaughter, the jury recommending him to mercy owing to provocation. [lt was alleged that when he refused to light a duel with rifles Duncombe, a farm worker, was shot through the chest and killed instantly.]
