OTAGO HARBOUR BOARD: NEW BY-LAW (No. 28, 1936), ■VTOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the -L* Otago Haroour Board proposes to adopt a new By-law, to be known as By-law No. 28, 1936, Using new wharfage dues on goods discharged at, shipped from, or transhipped at the port, and on overlanded goods; fixing new harbour improvement rates on goods discharged at, shipped from, or transnipped at the port, anu on overlanded goods; making new provisions in tespect of tho receiving and delivering of goods by the Board, including the charges therefor and regulations in connection therewith, including provisions as to responsibility therefor; fixing charges for storage on goods remaining on the wnarves or in the sheds beyond tne limits specified and making provisions in connection therewith ; making provision for the computation of tonnage for the purposes of the charges aforesaid; fixing a new maximum for port charges on vessels visiting the port; fixing a new berthage rate for intercolonial and coastal vessels; fixing charges where goods are landed for the convenience of a snip, and in the case of ships working overtime; making new provision for the computation of tonnage of inward or outward cargo in the case of dues or other charges against a ship; making *new provisions as to a minimum charge for dues or other charges; and making provisions as to the discharge of firearms on the lands or wharves under the control of the Board.
