DARDANELLES CONFERENCE

(Received June 17, at 11 a.m.) The ‘ Sun-Herald ’ Agency says Mr Bruce was offered and will probably accept the presidency of the Dardanelles Conference commencing at Montreux on June 22. EARL STANHOPE TO ATTEND, ' (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Juno 16. (Received June 17, at noon.) Earl Stanhope, one of the Parliamentary Under-Secretaries for Foreign Affairs, will head the British delegation to the Montreux conference. The delegation will include representatives of the Army, Navy, and Air Force, as well as Foreign Office experts. The conference opens on Monday.
