KOTUKU DELAYED The Union Airways airliner, Karoro, left the Taicri airport at 8.15 a.m. today for Christchurch, Blenheim, and Palmerston North with four pr-sseugers, including Messrs I). F. Smillie, L. A. Scott, and A. W. Burbiclge (for Christchurch). Owing to the Limited express from Auckland being about four hours late

in arriving at Palmerston North to-day on account of heavy rains and washouts, the south-hound airliner, Kotuku, did not leave Palmerston North until 10.46 a.m. with the air mails and passengers ex the Limited. The liner made a fast trip south, and arrived at the Taicri at 2.40 p.m. with Mrs W. A. Smith and Miss E. Johnson (from Palmerston North), and Messrs Marriott and Saul (from Christchurch). The air mails missed the afternoon delivery, but wore available at the Post Office for delivery at 3.15 p.m.
