MURDERER’S REGRET Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright SYDNEY, June 15. James Massey, who was hanged at the Long Bay Gaol yesterday, left a statement for publication, expressing deep regret for the pain, disnonour, and soi-row be had brought bis wife, father, and mother, and the tcrrrible bereavement in the family of the man he murdered. He added; “ I pray my desperate position and poor reparation may prove a warning to youths of my age not to neglect those things that count for Christian life and conduct.”
