WOOLSTRAA FOR WOOL
SERIOUS SUBSTITUTE RIVAL [Per United Press Association.] AUCKLAND, Juno 12. The development of _ woolstra as a substitute for wool is being viewed very seriously by Australian and New Zealand representatives in London, said Mr L. G. Brundahl, the Leipzig Trade Fair Commissioner, who is returning to Sydney by the Mariposa. It contained about 40 per cent, of wool and the remainder fibre. Extraordinary developments had been made in Germany with its manufacture,' but the Germans did not wish to proceed with the manufacture of substitutes if they *fcould place them anufactured products in fair exchange for wool. At the moment she was faced with the necessity to find world markets for her products. The people of Germany were now well dressed and happy, and there was very little unemployment.
