FOUND ON THE ROAD
DEAD MAN AND INJURED MAN PROBABLY STRUCK BY GAR ■;* SBD [Pek United Peess Association.] NEW PLYMOUTH, June 11. _ One 'man was killed and another seriously injured at Oakura to-night. They were found lying on the roid near their damaged motor cycle in circumstances that suggested they had been struck by a car. The dead man was Leonard Blandchard, a farm hand, employed in the district. Thomas Jury, also a young farm hand, was admitted to hospital with injuries to his legs and chest. He is in a serious condition. The police are investigating, but have not yet traced the other vehicle involved in the collision.
