PEACE WITH NEIGHBOURS
GERMANY DESIRES NEW LOCARNO Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. BERLIN, Juue 11. Herr von Ribbentrop, in a preface to a collection of diplomatic documents covering the history of the Locarno Treaty, which will shortly be published, declares; “Germany wishes nothing more earnestly than the negotiation of a new Locarno, but she emphasises that, if a new treaty cannot be concluded without a contribution by Germany to a solution of the Rhineland question, it will take a Jong time in the making. Germany will not permit further discussion over her regained sovereignty in the Rhineland.’’ He adds that" Germany is more interested in the future than the past, and it is Germany’s earnest desire to conclude a true and final peace with her neighbours and build in the West a new Locarno.
