FORMATION OF THIRD PARTY SENATOR BORAH APPROACHED. Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright NEW YORE, May 28. (Received May 29, at 1.30 a.m.) The Washington correspondent of the ‘ New York Times ’ learns that Mr Townsend, originator of the Townsend Plan, recently called upon Senator Borah and proposed the formation of a third party, with the senator as its nominee for President. He assured Senator Borah fo the support of his oldage pension adherents, as well as that of some members of the late Senator Long’s Share the Wealth Scheme. It is not believed, however, that Senator Borah, who is an aspirant for the Republican Presidential nomination, will form an allance with these groups.
